Privacy Policy

Last updated: Aug 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how [YOUR FULL LEGAL NAME], operating as Yerbalance ("Yerbalance," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit [yerbalance.co] (the "Site") or join our waitlist.

Yerbalance is a product in development. The Site is a pre-launch page: we do not sell anything, take payment, or ship products. The only thing you can do here is ask to be notified when the product exists.

1. Who we are

Yerbalance is operated by [YOUR FULL LEGAL NAME], an individual based in [COUNTRY]. We are not currently an incorporated company.

Contact: [privacy@yerbalance.co]

For visitors in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, [YOUR FULL LEGAL NAME] is the data controller for the information described here.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. If a form asks for it, we may also collect your first name and country. We do not ask for payment information, postal addresses, government identifiers, or health information, and you should not send them to us.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our analytics and advertising partners may automatically collect:

  • IP address and approximate location derived from it (city or region level)
  • Device type, operating system, browser type, and screen size
  • Referring URL, including the advertisement or platform that sent you here
  • Pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, and links or buttons clicked
  • Cookie and pixel identifiers, and advertising identifiers where your device provides them

We do not knowingly collect any special category or sensitive personal data. We do not ask you about your health, your diet, or whether you fast.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Add you to the waitlist and notify you when the product becomes available
  • Send you early access and launch pricing information, if you have opted in
  • Operate, secure, and improve the Site
  • Measure how our advertising performs and how visitors arrive and behave
  • Gauge aggregate interest in the product to inform whether and how we build it
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

4. Legal bases (EEA and UK visitors)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:

  • Consent — for marketing email and for non-essential cookies and advertising pixels. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legitimate interests — for basic site security, fraud prevention, and aggregate analytics, balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information by law.

5. Cookies, pixels, and analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are strictly necessary to serve the page. Others are used for analytics and advertising measurement, and are set only where you have consented, if consent is required in your location.

If you arrived from an Instagram or Facebook advertisement, Meta may receive information that you visited the Site and what you did on it, including through the Conversions API, which sends event data from our server rather than your browser. This is used for advertising measurement and optimization.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking non-essential cookies will not stop you from using the Site or joining the waitlist.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money.

We share information with:

  • Service providers who host the Site, store the waitlist, send email, and provide analytics, acting on our instructions
  • Advertising and analytics platforms as described in Section 5, for measurement and optimization
  • Legal and safety recipients where required by law, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public
  • A successor if Yerbalance is later incorporated, or in connection with a financing, acquisition, or sale of assets. If the operator of the Site changes, we will update this policy and notify waitlist members by email.

Some jurisdictions, including California, define "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising broadly enough to include advertising pixels. You can opt out by emailing [privacy@yerbalance.co] or by blocking non-essential cookies.

7. Retention

We keep waitlist data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and for a short period afterward so we can honor your opt-out. If the product is not launched, we will delete the waitlist. Analytics data is retained according to each provider's default settings, generally between 2 and 26 months.

8. Your choices and rights

Everyone. You can leave the waitlist at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing [privacy@yerbalance.co]. You can ask us to delete your email address entirely.

United States residents. Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of targeted advertising and of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

EEA and UK residents. You may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Israeli residents. You may have the right to review personal information held about you and to request that inaccurate information be corrected or deleted.

To exercise any of these rights, email [privacy@yerbalance.co]. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and may need to verify your identity first.

9. International transfers

We operate from [COUNTRY], and our service providers may process data in the United States and elsewhere. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited information we hold, including encryption in transit. Because we collect little more than an email address, the data at risk is minimal. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Age restriction

The Site and the product it describes are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email [privacy@yerbalance.co] and we will delete it.

12. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party pages. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. This policy does not apply to them.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product and the business develop, including if Yerbalance is incorporated as a company. We will change the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes affecting how we use your information we will notify waitlist members by email.
